Months after they broke up, Gunnar is woken up late at night by a call from his former boyfriend, Einar. Einar says that he sometimes gets the feeling that he is not alone at the family’s summer home in Rökkur, a secluded and remote site settled among stunning Icelandic vistas. Gunnar becomes worried and drives there to meet him, which turns into the start of a touching portrait of a couple who still haven’t gotten over each other. Erlingur Óttar Thoroddsen skillfully maneuvers among suggestive moods in a drama flourishing in what’s left unsaid.
